The new Laboratory Diagnostics Center at Klinik Favoriten has been awarded the klimaaktiv Silver Certification. The award recognizes the sustainable new building, which features energy-efficient technology, resource-saving materials, and a healthy indoor climate. Klinik Favoriten expands: Temporary facility “Pavilion G1” now in operation. A modern new building with a gross floor area of around 5,300 m² was constructed on behalf of the Vienna Health Association, housing a breast health center, digital radiology, an interventional vascular center, and administrative offices. The open, light-filled architectural concept supports efficient workflows and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Construction was carried out while the clinic remained fully operational. We are pleased to announce that, as AHA partners of Architects Collective for the Freiburg Children’s and Youth Hospital, together with Albert Wimmer ZT, we have already received four architecture awards: the ICONIC AWARD 2025, “Best of Best” in the Healthcare Architecture category, presented by the German Design Council, as well as the Callwey Award Healing Architecture, which was held for the first time this year. Previously, we were honored with the BIG SEE Architecture Award 2025 and, in 2024, received the distinction “Highly Commended” as part of the European Healthcare Design Award. The children’s hospital was also recently awarded DGNB Platinum in the overall assessment.

The Healthy Urban Oasis: Live Talk and Student Award Ceremony: On 13 November 2025, Architects Collective invites you to the audacity architecture talks series at the Prechtl Hall, TU Vienna. The topic of the evening is: “The Healthy Urban Oasis – Visionary Infrastructures for Urban Healthcare”, starting at 6:00 PM.
Following the talk, at 8:00 PM, the Architects Collective Student Award for Healthcare Architecture 2025 will be presented for the second time, in cooperation with TU Vienna.

We have won—1st place for Austrian Healthcare Architects! Our cross-project healthcare architecture cooperation was commissioned to plan the new construction of Zentralklinik Ottakring.

With the restructuring and service expansion of the Favoriten Clinic, a central building for a new central emergency room, the departments of cardiology, internal medicine, neurology as well as pulmonology is to be built in place of the outdated pavilion structure. F+P Architekten are in charge as general planner.

In Linz, a compact children's center is being developed at the Kepler University Hospital, bringing together specialized medical care for children and adolescents in one location. Our competition design won 2nd place.
